These moments and those times remind me,
of the warmth, of the love,
i experienced in your presence.
Today as i relive those moments,
in my thoughts and fantasies,
a breeze of nostalgia sweeps me vicariously,
and immerses me into deep thoughts,
thoughts of you and me together,
thoughts of your beatific smile,
thoughts of those affectionate caresses and strokes,
thoughts of the strength you provide.
But a twitch jolts me out of my thoughts,
fate hurls me into this world of reality,
life denies me this robe of romanticism.
And thus i am back,
back to this mundane, distasteful life,
for life can never be the same without you.

Amidst these clouds of wistfulness,
there is just one silver lining,
that i will come back to you,
come back to your intoxicating presence,
and that i will experience once again,
